WORK EXPERIENCE

Spring 2021 Internship.

I was an assistant writer for an academic research paper on inequities for deaf people in the Utah healthcare system, authored by a UVU Deaf studies professor.

Fall 2022 Internship.

I interpreted for the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB) with a professionally certified mentor observing and providing feedback.

Fall 2022- Current. Freelance Interpreting.

I am signed with two freelance agencies and interpret for a variety of appointments in the community including medical, educational, and job related appointments.

February 2023- Current. Purple Communications.

I am a video interpreter with Purple Communications doing VRS interpreting.
